CALLING ALL ARTISTS!

Hosted by the Lower Township Healthy Youth Coalition (LTHYC) in partnership with the Lower Township Police Camp

The Lower Township Healthy Youth Coalition (LTHYC), a pivotal community initiative by Cape Assist, is excited to announce a T-shirt design contest for the upcoming 2024 Lower Township Police Camp. This is your chance to let your creativity shine and see your design worn by both youth and adults alike!

THEME: SUMMERTIME IN CAPE MAY COUNTY

We are looking for designs that embody the spirit of summertime in Cape May County, reflecting the lasting friendships forged between Lower Township police and youth, the fun-filled activities at the Lower Township Police Camp, and the traditions that bring us together.

Inspiration can come from:​

  • The bond between Lower Township police and youth

  • Lower Township Police Camp's activities: baseball games, Wildwood boardwalk and water park visits, and Academy Day

  • The friendships and traditions cherished through the Lower Township Police Camp experience

GRAND PRIZE WINNER

One (1) grand prize winner will be awarded. The grand prize winner will receive a $50 Gift Card and see their designs on the 2024 Lower Township Youth Camp shirts worn by campers and camp counselors.

TOP DESIGN BY GRADE PRIZE WINNERS

Four (8) top design-by-grade prize winners will be awarded. One prize per grade level between the two participating schools. Each winner of the top design by grade will receive a $25 Gift Card.

CONTEST REQUIREMENTS, RULES, & ELIGIBILITY

Who Can Enter:

  • The contest is open exclusively to 5th through 12th grade students attending Sandman Consolidated School, Richard M. Teitelman Schools, and Lower Cape May Regional High School.

  • Only one entry is allowed per student.

Artwork Guidelines:

  • Entries must be completely original and conceived by the student.

  • Artwork should not incorporate any copyrighted elements, brands, or trademarks.

  • Acceptable submission formats include JPEG, PNG, or PDF.

  • Designs must reflect the contest theme effectively.

Submission Process:

  • Deadline for submission is 11:59 PM (EST) on Saturday, June 1, 2024.

  • A legal parent or guardian's consent signature is required for entry submission.

​

Legal and Consent Requirements:

  • Entrants and their legal guardians agree to the contest terms, affirming the artwork's originality and adherence to the rules and eligibility criteria detailed on www.lthyc.org/contest.

​

Prize Details:

  • Prizes are awarded as specified, without the option for exchange or cash equivalents. Winners will have their designs featured and will receive other prizes as described.
